I am an Edinburgh-born, local photographer.
With a creative spirit, love of nature, travel and different cultures, my curiosity and photography have taken me around the globe.
These foreign adventures, as well as allowing me to immerse myself in photography on a daily basis, have opened my eyes to the beauty and diversity around us. They also gave me a newly found appreciation for the city and country of my birth. As my travels continued and my desire to share what I saw grew, so did my passion for photography. With my attention now firmly fixed on Scotland I can think of nothing better than sharing this passion for photography with others. Being able to do so within the beautiful, UNESCO World Heritage City of Edinburgh is, for me, a dream come true.
I view photography as a lifelong vocation. I look forward to the continual process of learning and growing and hope that the enthusiasm which I have for photography can be used to encourage others.
I have photographed many events in the city, including the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. My images have been published online and in print by the BBC, STV, The Scotsman Newspaper, Landscape Photography Magazine, N-Photo Magazine, The Lonely Planet (Fr), The Readers Digest, The Sunday Post, Unfiltered Magazine and other local publications.
The March-April 2019 edition of Scotland Magazine used my images for their article about Edinburgh. I was also interviewed for and featured within their ‘Scotland Magazine Loves’ section.
The November-December 2019 and January-February 2020 editions of Edinburgh Life Magazine featured my images on the cover.
Several of my images are now being used by Amey and Transport Scotland to officially promote The Forth Bridges.
If you’d like to see examples of my most recent work you can do so by viewing my Edinburgh Area or Beyond Edinburgh image galleries.
